Youth soccer has grown considerable in popularity since the 1990’s when some effort was made by certain sectors to stimulate interest in the game. The appeal it has for young people is that to join soccer clubs, one need not be aspiring to become an athlete. At the same time one get’s to rub elbows with serious aspirants. As a result of their varied population, many of these organizations have invented derivative games for their more casual members.

Teamwork is the basis for any successful team. This is emphasized by coaches around the globe in different gym rooms, locker rooms and sports fields. There is little chance for a team to be successful if it relies solely on an individual player. When a cohesive team is created it works on the strengths of all its members. This is how cougar football can claim its success, as well as any other team.
