Going into the year, the Bengals defensive line looked to be a lot more robust. Although the doubt remained whether they might know how to overcome a small number of the deficiencies of the 2008 year’s team. Let’s narrow down the 3 vital areas as I see them.

Every generation of football sees the emergence and prevalence of a few elite quarterbacks. In the 80s and 90s, we saw the likes of Montana, Elway, Marino, and Aikman dominating the sport. Currently, quarterbacks like Manning, Favre, Brady, and Brees are clearly the best in the game.

The 08’s season for the Seattle Seahawks was an utter disappointment finishing 4-12. The Seahawks caught the injury bug and no one was able to stay healthy, thus the bad record.

There’s been a lot of hype surrounding the San Diego Chargers entering this new year of football. I’ve heard about Super Bowls in addition to the fact that they’re obvious NFC West favorites. After all, the Chiefs and Raiders have been consistently weak in recent years, not to mention the fact that the Broncos are a shell of what they were last year.

The Miami Dolphins were the feel good story of the 2008 NFL season. The team finished with a 1-15 regular season record in 2007, and was written off as quite possibly the worst football team of the decade.
