Wiffle balls are preferred for many drills as you don’t really need to be at a substantial field for their services. While you might be able to hit a baseball 400 feet, regardless how hard you hit a wiffle ball it probably won’t fly a lot more than 100 feet. Plus, a wiffle ball will be a lot more unlikely to brake windows than standard baseballs.
