Teamwork is the basis for any successful team. This is emphasized by coaches around the globe in different gym rooms, locker rooms and sports fields. There is little chance for a team to be successful if it relies solely on an individual player. When a cohesive team is created it works on the strengths of all its members. This is how cougar football can claim its success, as well as any other team.

Football is a game which favors big and tough players; it requires lots of strength and endurance. Nonetheless, players need more than sheer physical size, strength and endurance to win football games. A player must also be quick on his feet and a good receiver if he wants to make the winning touchdown. If the players are not fast enough to outrun and outmaneuver their opponents, they are unlikely to win the game.

Every generation of football sees the emergence and prevalence of a few elite quarterbacks. In the 80s and 90s, we saw the likes of Montana, Elway, Marino, and Aikman dominating the sport. Currently, quarterbacks like Manning, Favre, Brady, and Brees are clearly the best in the game.
